Mr. Leslie E. Marshall
Leslie E. Marshall founded MEI Mail and Document Services in 1998 with a simple but powerful belief: when people are respected and empowered, they will always do right by the customer. For more than 25 years, that philosophy has guided MEI’s growth into a trusted provider of business process outsourcing, mailroom management, document digitization, and inmate mail management services.
With over four decades of business experience, Leslie has built MEI on a people first culture. At MEI, employees are regarded as Primus inter Pares, “First among equals.” This philosophy continues to shape the company’s values and operations today.

A graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in accounting and finance, Leslie held senior management positions at IBM and Apple Computer before founding MEI. His background in financial strategy, information systems, and enterprise sales management laid the foundation for the company’s long term success.
Leslie is also a Vietnam era disabled veteran whose commitment to service extends beyond business. Since serving in the U.S. Air Force, he has remained dedicated to supporting fellow veterans, including actively employing veterans through MEI.
He also served for six years on the National Board of the U.S. Veterans’ Business Alliance (USVBA), including four years as Board President, and currently holds the title of President Emeritus.
